Switch-off your phone. 1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, *
Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to
swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and
hold
keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 2. After a
few
minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone
will
back to original system and factory settting.
you need to replace your ribbon. it is a flexible that connecting your front piece (where your lcd is mounted) of n85 with the body (where the battery mounted)
Not sure how to turn it off but if you put your phone on the Silent profile before you turn it off it will not sound the tone when you turn it back on.
Turn off all your password requests,etc in the security settings of your phone and try to search your phonebook again. That could be the reason of protection.
