Page 21 of this manual might reflect your menu options regarding switching to antenna from cable. To find the actual manual, you would need at least the model number. Hello There is a fuse inside the power supply bard of your sylvania TV. Check whether it has blown out. If bllown out, replace it with same type bothe in size and amperage. If the newly inserted fuse also blow up as soon as you switch on the set, make sure that the power supply section has some short circuit in it, and should be cheked well. OK.
kindly check the remote settings and your manual for it. Select Menu and click Settings, then sort it out until you see the option Wide so that you can select it to widen your screen..
hmm could that be a "sylvania 6427 gff".. i have seen a suffix of FF, GFF and GFG ... but not TE ... at any rate those are actually CRT displays .. probably the last of their kind ... they produce a really good but standard defination picture ... when you first turn it on it should come up with a setup menu ... if the cable is connecgted at the time it should find at least a few digital channels ..probably no standard channels ...most of those models do have standard and digital tuners but not sure about your TE model ...you might try unplugging your set for a few hours ... when you turn it back on it should come up with the menu system ...you will likely need a cable box to get most of the cable channels... but you may be able to get some ..you could try hookinng up rabbit ear antenna to see what local channels you can get ....
Sylvania MTS/SAP TV. I don't have a remote I accidentally hit the ''menu'' button on the front. Now I can't get the TV to show anything but static -- like there is no signal coming in from receiver (either through input jacks on front or on rear. Menu gives various options, but none of them gets me back to being able to see the picture.
We have the owners manual in case you misplaced yours . All ya gotta doi to get it is to click on the zenith B32A34Z model # At the top of this page and scroll down to the manual. Now according to the manual in the menu there is an antenns /cable setting and its in the EZ progrom mode. look at the manual as I dont remeber 100% but its there. It sounds like you or someone switched it when they were in the menu. Good Luck
