Must be because you have no free RAM. Try uninstalling applications in your phone that takes up a lot of ram like some games, etc. and try again.

go to message settings and check the location of the message storage if its on memory card then select to phone memory if its on phone memory then change its to memory card...if problem not solved then reset your phone setting
try to reformat your phone first turn off your phone and press hold * 3 call sign and turn on your phone you must hold press those key until your phone is reformatted
You need to change default storage device on your phone, from phone memry to card memory. In other words, move all data (messages, songs, videos etc) from your phone memory to card memory.
for example, go to messages>options>other>momory in use - change it to memory card instead of phone. (if your memory card is not named, it will be displayed as NO NAME).
Do the same with other data also.
