When you turn on the speaker on the phone push the up arrow unless you have a button on the side of your phone but when your on your phone talking it's the up arrow to increase volume. Go into your menu settings as well and go to sound settings to make sure your speaker and headset volumes are turned all the way up as well.
What kind of volume you want to increase, you have not mentioned! well, as a suggestion, if you want to increase your volume while listening music, you can take help of buttons present in left or right side of your mobile. or, if you want to increase you ringing alert sound then just go to profile, from their choose a correct option to increase the volume of your ringing alert tone.
follow this steps: menu-->settings-->personal-->profiles->select profil you are using and select opetions-->select personalise-->select ringing volume and adjust it.

You have to be on a call to adjust the earpiece volume. Just call your
voice mail and turn the volume up. It's the same button you use to turn
the phone ring volume up and down. When you're not on a call the volume
is for how loud your phone rings. When your on a call the volume buttons

There are 2 types of volume in your nokia phone that you can increase or decrease.
The first one is the ring tone volume. You can either increase or decrease your ring tone volume by pressing the menu key then go to settings, go to profile, select any desired profile go to personalise go to ringing volume, then increase or decrease by using the navigation button to the right or left.
The second way is to increase or decrease the volume of the speaker of your phone which i think is the cause of your question (this volume enables you to hear clear and loud the person on the other phone).
