I just purchased a Woods TN300 Timer. I have it set to "timer on"...and the correct time. (It's 8:30 am, and I have it set at 8:30 in the white area)/ The pins are pulled up from 7p to 5a. However, the lamp light stays on 24 hours. Can you help please?

Make sure the manual override switch on the unit is set to timer on.

As I mention in my question, the timer IS set to "timer on."

If you have made sure the pins are pulled out completely and not
partially pulled out. Push the timer dial inward to make sure it is seated
correctly. No disrespect but have you have turned the manual override switch
off then on to make sure the switch is not partially making a positive
connection. You do not need to wait 24 hours to test the device, you can rotate
the time dial 360 degrees to test the device as you would when setting the
time. The device is mechanical and you
should hear a physical click when the device is turned on and off. If the item
still has the same problem then it is defective.

I do not know how to set it. i have lost the instructions for a 111woods model tn300

Woods timers sometimes have more than one number for same timer.
This is true for most brands of timer.
Companies change model numbers and add new model numbers.

Intermatic makes two different analog timers with 111 model number. TN111 and HB111.
Grasslin has older electronic timer Tactic 111
Timex sells TE111 timer.

Open following link to identify TN300 analog timer and read instructions and download possible manual:
If TN300 is not same as your timer, view images on link and then add a comment for possible help with different timer.
