Make sure
the manual override switch on the unit is set to timer on.
As I mention in my question, the timer IS set to "timer on."
If you have made sure the pins are pulled out completely and not
partially pulled out. Push the timer dial inward to make sure it is seated
correctly. No disrespect but have you have turned the manual override switch
off then on to make sure the switch is not partially making a positive
connection. You do not need to wait 24 hours to test the device, you can rotate
the time dial 360 degrees to test the device as you would when setting the
time. The device is mechanical and you
should hear a physical click when the device is turned on and off. If the item
still has the same problem then it is defective.
