After you have inserted the sim card messages shows"start up phone without sim".Yes Or NO, press NO. If not OK the problem comes from sim IC or Sim case.

Hi first of all after inserting Inserting Sim Card and power on your phone,,a message will prompt you to select "Start up phone without Sim Card" select NO. If there is no any option displays a there might be something wrong with Sim card related components.So try to clean the sim card slot.Otherwise you need to visit mobile repairing shop.Thank you
Hi, Your phone may be locked to its Network, that's why it shows SIM card not valid.In order to use other networks, You need to unlock your phone. Contact your service provider and get the unlock code for your Nokia N73 and unlock your phone. In case, if they don't give you the code, you can get it from online sites. After inserting the sim card it goes restart and ask for changing the
profile from offline,when i try to change the profile from offline to
others it hang and restarts showing the offline while sim inserted!tried
with different sim but no use.
Please restart your phone. After restarting, it will ask do you want to continue in offline mode, select NO. This should solve your problem. Make sure you have SIM card inserted in your phone.
