I have a '92 Coleman (Fleetwood) Destiny Cedar that has a broken slide rail on the front slider. One of the plastic stops is missing and I need parts. If you know of a site with a pdf file for parts I would appreciate your assistance. I am 120 miles from the nearest dealer.

I have the same issue. It looks as though the rivets broke off. I have yet to reattach the slide mechanism. Normally the slide mechanism is stopped by a peice of emtal about 1./2 the way down the slide. Either new rivets or some flush head screws might sole your issue.

Ha, right in my wheel house! Correct there are two sets of rollers on each side of the bed slide out. The second roller (one closest to the interior of the trailer) stops at about midpoint on the roller. There typically is a small square piece of metal that is pop riveted to the inside of the track, located about where the middle of the bed is. You should see that the aluminum frame work for the bed slide out rivets together at the center of the bed, this is your working area. I would suggest removing all of the screws on the underside of the slide. You will also need to drill out the rivets on the center support and where the two parts of the bed framework meet. Pull the outer portion of the slide frame out and that should reveal your problem area. You will need to re rivet this stopping piece so the slide out will stop. If this piece is missing, you can fabricate a small square piece to replace it. If you have any other questions about tent trailers, let me know. I have stripped them down to the frame and gutted them only to rebuild them. Hope this helps. D

How to service the rails on my 190mm slider

Servicing the rails on a 190mm slider can help to improve the smoothness and stability of the slide motion. Here are some steps you can take to service the rails on your slider:
  1. Clean the rails: Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any dirt, dust, or debris that may have accumulated on the rails.
  2. Lubricate the rails: Use a lubricant specifically designed for camera equipment, such as silicone lubricant or Teflon-based lubricant, to lubricate the rails. Apply a small amount of lubricant to a clean cloth and wipe the rails thoroughly.
  3. Tighten the screws: Make sure that all the screws on the slider are tight. Loose screws can cause the slider to be unstable and difficult to slide.
  4. Check for worn or damaged parts: Inspect the slider for any worn or damaged parts, such as bent or twisted rails, or a worn or damaged bearing. If any parts are found to be worn or damaged, they should be replaced.
  5. Test the slider: After servicing the rails, test the slider to ensure that it is moving smoothly and that the right slide is no longer loose.
It's worth noting that it's important to use the correct lubricant, as using the wrong type of lubricant can cause damage to the slider. If the problem persists, it would be best to contact

How to remove driver seat on SC 430 Lexus

Most car seats are held in with four bolts. Two front, two rear. One at each end of the slider rails the seat moves forward and back on. You might need to slide the seat all the way forward for the rear ones and all the way back for the front ones. The bolts might be tucked under carpet or plastic trims. There will also be wires to disconnect. Once done the seat should just lift out.

I have an older FR350 nailer. The coil return spring broke. I have the replacement and want to fix it. Do I have to take the whole nail guid assembly off to replace this part!

The best way to replace the spring is to remove the rails entirely. Take closeup photos of the gun from all sides with your digital camera or camera phone to help you with placement of all screws. You will need small clamp, small vicegrips and paperclip or piece of soft wire with small hook bent on one end to temp hold spring in place. With rails in hand check if pusher will slide out front of rails (some rails have a small casting preventing pusher from coming out front ~ remove tailpiece and slide out back ). Locate small screw /nut holding spring in place (keep this side of rails facing you). With new spring in place slide pusher into rails until you can catch the eye of the spring with bent wire at front of rails. While holding wire with vicegrip pull back pusher a few inches and clamp in place with c-clamp. Pull or let in bent wire to align eye of spring to attachment hole and install screw (you can leave bent wire in eye and just break off later. With screw attached break off wire and install rails to gun. Check sliding action of pusher before installing bolts at rear of rails. The pusher on some porter cable guns have plastic sliders that easily break with normal use and should be replaced as needed. Good luck.

Simmons model 229060 drop rail is falling out

There should be a couple of little plastic clips (curvy) on the bottom of the rail, last stop before the floor. If one or both are either missing or broken it will simply fall out. Call Simmons directly (www.simmonskids.com for the phone number) and they can sell you the pieces. Mine came in about 3 days and they're very easy to replace.

I hope this helps!

Need a Peavy Unity Series 1000 Mixer manual

Hi, I have the same problem with the sliders. The board is diffucult to open. You have to take off all the knobs, plastic inserts on th XLR's and nuts on the 1/4' jacks. (Not to mention those black plastic holders.) The slides are 10k and come out quiet easily if you use solder wick. The main board is held in by about 20 of those black plastic holders. You have to release them one at a time starting at the front of the board and work right top left, row by row. The holders will stay on the bottom of the mixer. Peavey.com has the slides in stock for $3.72 each. The phone number is 1-877-732-8391 ext. 1386. (don't forget to order the knobs for each of the slides) Hope this helps. Frank.
