My Sony TV blinks 11 times after switching on, then picture & sound come on normally. But now, only sound without picture and then off and it blinks faster for 10 times, then off for approx. 3 secs then blinks again same rate and the cycle continues. At times, I try to switched on the TV while blinking in this cycle, the effect was blinking changed to normal rate and then the TV operates.

You just count the number of blinks occur at a time, by switching the set ON-OFF by its front panel power switch, not by the remote control handset. Just do it for at least three or four times, count the exact number of blinks occurs there, and inform it to me through Fixya. Through the number of blinks, I can locate the faulty section, of somtimes to the exact fault location. Count it keenly and inform me. OK.
