Upon powering on, I will occasionally (not always) get a reverse/black screen on the right half of the screen. If I power off, and on again, the full screen appears. The unit has a new, fully charged battery, and otherwise works fine. Is this a sign if imminent complete failure, or perhaps a loose wire somewhere??
Its a loose wire OR your screen is damaged it might be a loose wire on account of it working fine sometimes but it could be a damaged screen because only half of it works

If one half of the screen on a Samsung LED TV goes black and then the other side but one side always works, then it most likely means that there is an issue with the LCD panel or internal hardware of the TV. It is recommended to contact Samsung support and schedule a service appointment to have a technician check the TV for any potential repairs that may need to be done.
Repairing the damage to your phone cannot be performed 'at home'. You'll need to take (or send) it to a repair center to determine the amount of damage it has sustained and the exact parts that will be needed to fix it properly.
If you have insurance on your phone with your cellular provider you can have it replaced -as cell phones being dropped are covered by most insurance policies.
Take the phone to one of your cellular providers Retail Stores that has on-site tech support and repair. They will be able to perform a more accurate assessment of the damage and cost to repair it.
When you see the first screen (the orange one) hold the UP button as the bar moves across the bottom of the screen. Let go right before the screen goes to the silver logo. If it continues and opens Prefs, then you need to delete the program causing it to reboot.
If that doesn't work, do a Hard Reset. A Hard Reset will erase everything on your T5, so only do it if you have to. Hold the Power Button while you push the reset button. Continue with the instructions to finish erasing your device.
you will have to do a soft reset. Google on the web how to soft reset the palm tungsten e. It is just slightly complicated. If that does not work you may have to do a hard reset which you can also find out how to do on google but i dont think you will need to
Digitizer is about half unplugged. To continue with this will tear the web. If you start a new request as a premium, I can tell you how to replace it. TY. Please post this as fixya.
Do you mean to remove it from the E or from the server?
I am going to assume that you mean from the Tungsten E. You need to hard reset the Tungsten E. Press the power button and at the same time do a pin reset using the recessed button on the reverse side of the E. Dont let go of the power button until you see the round Palm logo. Then let go if it and you will see a screen asking if you want to erase all data.
