Unfortunately, this usually means that there is a problem with the power supply to the tv. I would advise you do not continue to unplug and replug the set as you may cause an internal short.
You will need a technician to attend to the set (Do NOT remove the back or attempt to access the internal workings of the set unless you want to become crispy fried human!)
On average, replacing the internal power supply components will set you back around $200 or so.
I have the exact same problem with my Toshiba, can someone please help with a solution.
