Hannspree 22" widescreen LCD Flat Panel HD Monitor Logo
Posted on Aug 08, 2010

Just connected a HF 225 monitor to Vista Home 32 bit. No real manual; install CD does nothing. When I press the Menu or Brightness buttons on the monitor I get no response to keyboard or mouse clicks to make any changes. In Control Panel it does not list this new monitor. Help?

They only include the Win7 driver on the CD. I'm surprised it doesn't work with Vista. Did you try going into the HF225_win7 directory and clicking on infinstallWIN7?

The monitor menu doesn't work with the keyboard. You have to press a combination of the three buttons to the left of the on-off button. It's not very intuitive.

How can I install my Lexmark P915 printer to my vista O/S laptop

Unplug the printer usb cable from your computer. To install, I suggest you use the Lexmark P915 printer software you can download from the Lexmark website. But check if your Vista is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by clicking on the Windows logo Start menu > right click on Computer > Properties. For 32-bit, click on this link: http://bit.ly/9MpwNB. For 64-bit, click on this link: http://bit.ly/d4tR3d. Download and install. Follow the instructions carefully. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.

Canon MP500 all in one printer is not compatible with Windows Vista. Is there a solution for this problem, or do I need to buy a different printer?

My Canon PIXMA MP500, purchased in mid-2006, came with the (then) ScanSoft OmniPage SE2 software on a CD. The PC had WinXP Installed. I had no use for the ScanSoft it so I made no effort to install it.
Fast Forward:
Two PC crashes later, July 2009. Using Win Vista Home Premium
LOST, important WinWord document file, only a hard copy available.
I tried to recover, scanning the "Xerox" copy. The SE Version of OmniPage was very complicated but I succeeded in producing a replacement *.doc file.

It appears that newer editions of WinVista contain the right printer drivers for this Canon Model.

Get windows vista home premium

You can run a 32 bit technology OS on a 64 bit technology platform.

It will run pretty fast.

You just can't run a 64 bit technology OS on a 32 bit technology platform, though the 64 bit OS is recommended on a 64 bit platform.

Love your brother, he did you no wrong.
