Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on Advanced then NAT settings. Then you can change those settings. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Forgot password...I know username

What username do you know? Is it for the login for the GUI when you type the 192.168.1.1? There is no way you can retrieve the password you had set if you changed it before. The only way to access your router GUI again is to hard reset the router so that it will go back to default as admin for username and password is admin as well. The problem is all the settings that you saved before like port forwarding, NAT configuration and wireless setting will go back to default and you will need to reconfigure it back again.

How can I changes my NAT-type from NAT-type strict to NAT-type 2 on Playstation 3? My router is a Gigabyte GN-BR01G

By default the IP address should be set to 192.168.1.254, insert this in the browser. You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now. By default both the username and password are admin. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.

Click the Virtual Server link near the left of the page. You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click PPPoE/DHCP/Static.
PSN requires you to forward the following ports:TCP: 80, 443, 5223
UDP: 5223, 3478, 3479, 3658 Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into thePPPoE/DHCP/Static Configuration menu.enry.png When you're finished, click Submit near the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

And that's it! You're done!

I would like to configure my router to open nat, it is currently at nat type 2. it affects call of duty black ops and sometimes madden. i dont have a user name to get into router website. let me know how...

open up internet browser and goto 192.168.100.1
enter "admin" for username and "motorola" for password
click "gateway" and navigate to "port forwarding" tab
enter the ip address for the xbox/ps3 as well as entering the ports 53,80,1863, and 3074 in the correct box. once you do the first port, you will understand better how to do this. i would also suggest changing the username and password for the router.

I need to change my Nat and for that i need to log in, in my zhones IP adrees but i dont know the username and password what can i do?

If you don't know the password, all you need to do is reset your router, then it will be all factory defaults again.

The default user name is Admin and the password is Admin.

How to change your NAT type to NAT type 1

When your console talks about a NAT problem it isnt referring to itself but rather to your router, Log in to your routers web management console, normally works by typing 192.168.1.1 and then entering admin for username as well as password when the login dialog comes up, oor leave the username blank and enter admin for password, from there go to WAN configuration and look for NAT Type or check under advanced routing, just change it from whatever setting its on to the alternate and save your configuration, VOILA... Hpe this helps

Nat settings on a linksys wireless router

NAT Configuration is also called Port Forwarding. You can simply open the ports by going to the router's setup page http://192.168.1.1 no username and password is admin. You can do it under Applications and Gaming tab, Port Range Forwarding.

I need to change my nat settings

Type into the address bar www.whatismyip.com copy and paste your ip address into the address bar, a username and password will be required to access the page, most default usernames and passwords will be admin and password, for sky users the password may be sky, if these don't work then dont worry there are websites that have a list of all routers default usernames and passwords. once on the router setup go to security setup, and go to where it says WEP, click disable WEP and accept changes. if it is for gaming make sure that the UPnP is clicked on. and there you go, bare in mind that your pc may stuggle to connact to the router at this point because of the change, so just change the settings on your computer to suite the routers settings and there you are an open NAT and internet that still works. hope this works for you!
