Um...buy another one? Open your laptop and find the CMOS battery; its a small, round silver thingy. Note the size of the battery, its usually engraved into the battery, a number preceded by "CR". Go to Radioshack (or whereever) and buy another, and reinstall it.

Are you getting the gray glowing screen only with no sound or on screen menu, if that is the case, you need to check and see if you are getting the 12vdc fot the T-CON board.

Remove the cmos battery from the motherboard for about 5 seconds, replace & reboot. Everything should be reset to factory settings. Hope this helps.
