Hello. Can you please help me. When my phone rings there is no sound coming from it. I have gone through all the settings but it still only just flashes but does not ring at all. I have been looking at it for the last 3 hours. Can you please help

press menu
select phone settings
press menu
select volume ring
press menu
adjust to loud
press menu and end

Have you checked the switch on the top left of the phone?
That's the mute switch. Flip it in the Up position and that should fix your problem
If the phones ringing when you test the ringer in the settings, the ringer works. It's probably just muted..

The ringer is gone bad. Go to service center and just ask them to change the ringer. It will cost less than 100 rupees.
Make sure the phone profile is not in silent or in vibration only...

Settings
In this menu, you can adjust various phone
settings. To reset some menu settings to their
default values, select Restore factory set.
Tone settings
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available
options:
Ringing tone-To set the tone for incoming calls
Ringing volume-To set the volume level for the ringing and
message alert tones. If you set Ringing volume to be level 2 or
above, your phone rings with the ringing volume ascending
from level 1 to the level you have set when there is an
incoming call.
Vibrating alert-To set the phone to vibrate when you receive a
call or a text message
Message alert tone-To set the tone to sound when you receive
a text message
Warning tones-To set the phone to sound tones, for example,
when the battery is running out of power

To turn off beep sound its quite easy.Just follow the simple steps are you are done : Go to Menu Then settings >ring styles > style detail > keypad volume.Bring keypad volume to zero and beep sound is gone.Enjoy !! Go to the settings option and then select your profile and then personalize,then in the ringtone option it would be set as descending,set it as ringing and your problem is gone..:)

Follow these steps:
Go to your menu, then go to settings and tools.
Next go to sounds settings.
Go to Call sounds.
Then Call Ringtone.
Check if it is set on "no ring", if so change it to whatever ringtone you might want.

You can go back to the sounds settings and go to alert sounds and follow the same steps as above so you will get sound when someone sends you a picture or video message.

well throw ur phone against the wall dat made my phone work but there is a catch u will scratch it a little bit good luck

You will have to change the ringer under sound settings to "Vibrate and Ring", it is currently set on "Vibrate Then Ring".

There are several MMC to make the phones Ring. Do you have a Station Ring Group where several phones ring at the same time ? This is set up in MMC 601, then you set the trunks to ring to that group in MMC 406. Good Luck and let me know how it goes. ....Mike
