Voicemail password I switched cell phone carrriers and now i can't get into my voicemail. The old voicemail pin don't work anymore. It goes to someone elses voicemail when I try to check my voicemail.

Call your phone carrrier...they'll ask you some questions about your account and then reset your password. Write it down on your forehead next time. lol

If all you get is voicemail, then your phone isnt on anymore. If it rings first and then goes to voicemail, well then you might have it muted.
To find it, search your memory for all the places it could be, if that doesnt work, well then your in bad luck..

The voicemail is on the computer at your carrier's office, not on your phone. Call ATT or Verizon (or whoever your carrier is) and ask them to reset your password - then log in, listen to voicemails and change your message from there. If the phone is old and no longer connected to a carrier, the messages are lost unless your new phone uses the same carrier (you should be able to log in with your new phone and listen to old messages if you did not delete them yet - even if they came in when you owned this old phone.

Call the support number for your phone provider and tell them you need to reset your password.

Depending on your cellular provider you may be able to reset your voicemail online by using their system to send you a pin or you can contact your provider for assistance and they will send a code that allows you to change your voicemail password.

Call 611 or 800-331-0500.
Enter the wireless number starting with area code.
Press 3 to "get help with voicemail."
Press 3 to reset your VM password.
Enter the Billing Zip code for the account.
After a few seconds, iPhone will display "Password Incorrect - Enter Voicemail Password."
Enter the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and tap OK.

NOTE: You must be registered and logged into myWireless Account to view this information.

From the myWireless Account home page, select Phone/Device then choose the Reset Voice Mail PIN link from the left column.
IMPORTANT: If there is more than one line on the account, make sure the correct wireless number is displayed in the Wireless Number list before selecting Reset Voice Mail PIN.
To reset the password for any of the lines on the account, choose a wireless number from the dropdown menu
Click Submit.
After a few seconds, iPhone will display "Password Incorrect - Enter Voicemail Password."
Enter the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and tap OK.

The pin is probably one of the following:
9999
0000
1111
the last four of your phone number.
Once in your voicemail, you'll hear a menu and an option will be provided to change your password.
