Ifthe compressor comes on but no fan.
Feel of fan for excessive heat
Check fan for replacement.
Also check fan capacitor
If compressor and fan don't come on check voltage
and check double capacitor
If this was helpful please rate me.

I have a 901650 intertherm and the fan outside turns on but the air conditioner inside does not work. What could it be?

!st off, do you mean the indoor unit does nothing period as wont run? or wont cool?if it wont run, the checking breakers/fuses etc is a waste of time, as the transformers clearly providing the 24 volts to operate the contactor outside. If you switch your fan to "on" does the fan run?if not, check fan relay, or board or motor/cap etc.If the fan does run with the fan switch set to on, but not in cool mode, the auto function that sends power to green /fan via yellow?cool terminal in the tstat is open and not allowing the 24v to energize the fan relay.

My Goodman gsh103301ab. The fan in the outside unit will not come on. The heat is still coming out the the vents but, just don't think that sounds right. Is this suppose to happen?

If it's in cool mode, the outside fan definitely should run to remove the heat. If it's heat mode the outside fan will start only when pressure build up. If it's problem with condenser fan definitely the breaker or fuse will be blown when the amphs increased.

Intertherm 13 SEER split air conditioner fans wont turn on?

OUTSIDE FAN OR INSIDE FAN OR BOTH. IF BOTH CHECK THERMOSTAT WIRE HOOK UP. IF YOU INSTALLED NEW TSTAT CHECK FOR JUMPER ON RH-RC TERMINALS ON TSTAT BACK PLATE. IF INSIDE FAN COMES ON WITH FAN IN ON SETTING AT FAN ON AUTO LEVER THAN PROBLEM IS AT OUTSIDE UNIT. CHECK FUSES IN BOX ON OUTSIDE WALL. SHUT OFF BREAKER FIRST.

I have a Intertherm heat Pump. Everything turns on inside the house. Blows warm air and the outside Fan wont turn on. Both the outside copper pipes are same temp, neither hot nor cold. Don't know the modle...

If the fan outside doesn't work the compresor will overheat and shut off by the thermal protection inside the compressor , to fixed this you have to replace the fan motor and its capacitor.

Ruud Achiever 10, outside Fan wont spin unless I help it.

The part you are talking about is called a capacitor. They come in various voltages and ratings. The best thing to do would be to find the rating tag on the motor, and look for the capacitor rating. There are many, many different sizes and types, so it is best to consult a proffesional before attempting to replace it on your own.

WONT COOL OUTSIDE UNIT DOES NOT COME ON FAN BLOWS INSIDE

if the fan outside is turning on and inside fan is blowing too, then you have a compressor problem. could be a capacitor gone bad (or needing a hard start kit) to the entire compressor failure
