If your F35-WQXGA Barco projector is displaying a critical error at startup, it could be due to a variety of reasons. Here are some potential causes and solutions:
Lamp Failure: The projector lamp may have reached the end of its lifespan, or it may have malfunctioned. Check the projector's lamp indicator to see if the lamp needs to be replaced. If it does, replace the lamp with a new one.
Power Supply Issue: Check the power supply to ensure that it is functioning properly. Make sure that the projector is receiving the correct voltage and that all cables are securely connected.
Overheating: The projector may be overheating due to a blocked air vent or dirty air filter. Check the air filter and clean or replace it as necessary. Ensure that the projector has proper ventilation to prevent overheating.
Software Issue: Check for any software updates or patches that may be available for your projector model. Download and install any updates as necessary to resolve any software-related issues.
Hardware Issue: If none of the above solutions resolve the issue, it may be a hardware problem. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician to diagnose and repair any hardware issues.
It is recommended to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific troubleshooting steps and solutions for your model of projector.
I don't believe that you can purchase this lamp as a bare bulb through official channels. It is an expensive lamp + projector and buying cheap copies is likely to be a risky business, definitely not supported by Barco. Prices seem to start at around £3500 GBP (ex VAT) or $5500 USD (ex TAX)
If you are in the UK, here are the 1st two suppliers I found
Given the fact that it is such an expensive lamp you should be able to negotiate a competitive price. I'd get on the phone to any potential supplier and ask them for their very best price rather than buying off the net.
Press the MENU button. Use the < > arrows to get to the OPTION menu. Press the ENTER button. Select LAMP RUN TIME. Press and hold the ENTER button for about 3 seconds. The 'lamp time reset' will display. Press OK and press the ENTER button. This will reset the lamp hours as well as turn off the projector.
the projector will not know that u have replaced the lamp!u will have to tell it that a new lamp has been installed
to do this go to the menu & find reset lamp hours option & do a lampo reset.the lamp hours will reset to zero & then the replace lamp message will nt appear!
lamp hours can only be displayed by connecting two test points in side the projector. in normal operation, a message will be displayed on the screen when the lamp hours = 1090. when the lamp reaches 1100 hours, the projector will shut itself off. when you do replace the lamp, be sure to reset the lamp time in the setup menu (this is covered in your manual).
