Printer connection I have a new X61 lenovo laptop and am thrying to connect my Canon PIXMA MP760 printer. The printer is not listed in the Add Printer Wizard, and I don't know if any of the listed printers are compatible. Can you please advise? Thanks

Possible that the B&W ink cartridge is faulty or there is poor installation . You need to shut down the printer and remove the ink cartridge. now reinstall after ensuring that printer was disconnected and then connected.

Click OK on the message prompt to close the message.

Uninstall the software that came with your printer . .

From the hard drive, click Applications, then click Utilities and select the Printer Setup utility.


Click Add.

If your printer shows up in the printer list, select Printer. If the printer does not show up in the list, choose either Bonjour or Rendezvous as the connection type and then select the printer from the list.
