Video not working on 755Twins-hdtv motherboard.

I have an AsRock 755Twins-hdtv motherboard. It was purchased from eBay as a refurbished unit.
I have had no luck getting video to work. The unit did not come with the video adapter (or cable) so I cannot use the onboard video. But cards that I plug into the PCI or PCI Express slots will not work either. I have looked at the manual and I do not see anything there about disabling the onboard video in order to use a separate video card.
Even when booting no video works.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thank You!

The option to disable the onboard graphics is in the BIOS.
You need a PCI-express card. You should not be trying to fit any graphics cards into the PCI slot.
The VGA/HDTV conection should have been supplied on a seperate card.

What video cards are compatible with my motherboard i have a 7100 GS palit video card, will it work?

Palit Geforce 7100GS video card has a PCI express interface, which is the standard nowadays. Your ASROCK motherboard has a 4x/8x AGP interface. That video card will not plug into your motherboard. You can use any video card that has an 8x (or 4x) AGP connector, or just use the built-in video that is already on the motherboard.

This will probably fall on deaf ears but that trident is probably an old 3.3v card and you can only use a single "keyed" 1.5 video card in this motherboard. its also not worth risking a 3 keyed "universal" video card in this board as so i heard they sometimes try and draw 3.3v instead of just 1.5v that they are supposed to be able to step down to hence the name "universal" agp (having both 3.3v and 1.5 volt keys)

Maybe this solution will help future second hand purchasers of this motherboard since they are still out there selling to this very day.
