Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. E3 error indicates that moisture
sensor has failed and should be replaced. The cost to repair this will be
around $300 including labor however, prior to replacing the part take the unit
apart (only recommended if it’s out of warranty), then check the back of unit
and take the filter off. Once this is done clean the sensor (moisture sensor) with
a brush and blow some air with the help of hair dryer. There is another sensor
which is pushed into a copper tube which is part of the cooling tube; you’ll
need to clean this one the same way. All this is only recommended if you have
some electrical expertise. Please do accept the solution if the issue is
resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee
"E3" code the condensor sensor is bad.It has to be checked and replaced.
E3 error message which apparently means the air is working and it has internal frost. It then stops cooling the air and waits for
itself to defrost.
Thanks.

- The unit does not continue working no matter how long I wait for it to defrost. How do I know the problem isn't the condenser assembly ($77.71), the condenser ($9.97) or the humidity sensor ($51.64). Thanks.
