All watches are preprogrammed for all the functions, so, there is no possibility to make it glow for longer or continuously unless you press and hold the light button or just repeatedly push it again and again. Do not forget that prolonged use of light function will shorten watche's battery life significantly.

Is my watch fake or real.us Polo assn watch two numbers on back SR626SW also USC80471SH0319

If you have to ask, it's a copycat. If you bought it on eBay, it's fake. The numbers are not known to Google. They are a cheap watch anyway, so just enjoy it.

The second hand on my Invicta 0295 (this is not a chronograph watch) appears to be trying to move(stutters/moves slightly)but it is stuck in the same position in the 12:02 range and does not advance.

It could be a couple of things, the second hand is not seated properly and is rubbing. May need a cleaning, or fresh battery. Unless you have taken a watch apart I would bring it to a watch repair or send it directly to Invicta USA they will give you an estimate. Should not be expensive

My casio protrek 2500t watch is in power saving mode but even after keeping in dark for hours between 10pm and 6 am the display does not go off. Please help.

I own the same PRW-2500-1A (all black).Check if under the hours reading, PS appears. If yes, power saving function is activated.
Normally, Power Saving Function is enabled automatically (if activated) if the watch stays in complete dark for sometime. If after a couple of hours in the dark the watch comes suddenly under bright light, the display goes on immediately.Hour interval (10pm-6am) has nothing to do with Power Saver.
Try the following:
a)Deactivate and reactivate (or vice versa) the PS.
b)Leave the watch in the dark for a couple of hours .Then, still in the dark, try, using a very low power light (just that you can, barely read) to check if display is blank. If not you may have a problem with the light sensor found at the bottom of the display. Will be a very rare case but you have to take the watch to a CASIO authorized service.

Hi I have a citizen eco watch and it will not stay with the right time have to keep setting it I havent worn it in a while so could you please tell me whats wrong

Your watch runs on light, you need to leave the watch under a light source for at least 18 hours, then as long as your wearing it, it should keep running if you are exposing it to light. At nighttime for a couple nights leave it under a light, so it has a good charge and keeps running. If this does not work then you need to call Citizen Watch repair at 1-800-321-1023.

We have a Carriage watch by Timex that's my mom's (she's in a nursing home). The watch wasn't keeping time so my brother replaced the battery. It was running fine, now it's lost time....

A second hand that pulses but does not advance usually indicates one of two problems: (1) a weak battery that provides insufficient power to the tiny motor that advances the second hand; or (2) a bit of dust or grit somewhere in the watch's gear train that is jamming up the works.
Try testing or replacing the battery. If that doesn't work, some watchmakers can try to blow out (using very gentle air puffs, not cans of compressed air) the watch movement and/or put it on a special machine to try to unjam the gears. It is usually does not make economic sense to perform further repairs on a watch of this price range, though it is also possible to replace the entire movement.

Citizen Eco Drive second hand stoped working

The Citizen Eco Drive watches use special recharchable batteries.
I started collecting a couple of watches and I noticed sometimes a jeweler replaces them with an ordinary battery. The watch will work and at the same time it will try to recharge this one until it explodes! In newer models they made it harder to use the non-rechargable ones by adding a special connector or clip to the rechargable battery types.
Okay, if you say your battery goes bad, or watch does not run okay? It may have lost the charge over time. First thing to try is to leave it on the window sill so the dial is in the sun. It will start ticking, but please leave it out there for 3 days to a week. The seconds hand will tick irregularly in steps of one and two seconds, to show you it wants you to readjust the time, as it knows it has lost time. Adjust the time and it should run smoothly.
The seconds hand should run in single second steps, if it takes steps regularly, but every 3 seconds or so, it tries to tell you that its power level is going down. It will be able to continue for one or two days, but you should get it into the sun more often.
Charging the battery under a lamp is possible, however this heats up the watch and this may reduce battery life. As long as the watch keeps running I believe it should keep good time. It is quartz anyway. If this is not the case, and a good sunbath does not help, the mechanism could be running heavy, possibly due to overheating the watch; no help there...
If you need to know more about the Eco Drive, look for detail tech manuals for all types here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/downloads/tech/tech.htm
Those are great watches as long as you remember it needs light to charge.
