Have you gone to the Microsoft site and downloaded and installed the latest keyboard software? You must do this for the special function keys like "favorites" to work.

Microsoft Keyboard (1045) doesn't work with new Samsung Monitor
Hi

Keyboard and mouse have no connection with Monitor
Since keyboard and all are linked with mother board

so firstly i suggest you yo check the wireless connections are ok

Now reinstall the software packages that came with the keyboard(And drivers)
