Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device, in its search box. It will help you to find the document easily.

I assume you have purchase a universal remote control...if the programming codes for your Sony STR-DE675 receiver is not listed in the remotes code guide, then you purchased the wrong type universal remote. Make sure you get a universal that does stereo equipment or check eBay for a reasonable price on the original.

I have provided a link with instructions on how to program the new remote to your Sony TV. The link contains our different receivers. Select your receiver model, then a PDF document will open with the instructions for programming the remote to your TV. It begins with step 5. I hope this helps.

RCA Universal remote codes for the Mitsubishi TVs are...006,011,014,019,022,027,041,056,061,068.
First, turn on TV
Press and hold code search button on remote
Press and release the TV button
Enter the three digit code you want
Release code search
Push channel up, if device responds, that code worked.. If not, repeat steps 1-5 with each code until you find the one that works. This information can be downloaded from http://www.thompsontv.com/rcarc.html

It took me a week to find the right instructions and codes on how to do this so I am posting it everywhere I can to help out folks with the same remote. Pay close attention to the instructions, for instance when programming the remote for TV use make sure you hold the TV button down while you enter the code and then press OK, You also have to hold the TV button down while you use the volume and channel controls or it will just change the VCR channel.

Changing Remote Control Code

This Remote is capable of transmitting two control codes; one set
to respond to A code control signals and another set to respond to
B code control signals. This Remote control is preset to send A
code signals because your VCR is initially set to respond to A code
signals. You can easily modify your VCR and the Remote to
respond to B code signals. When using two JVC VCRs, set two
VCRs and their Remotes to different codes, so that you can
operate these VCRs separately.
