You don't need any software.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
If you really want the Kodak software, you may download it from here.

Ours does the same thing. If you find an answer please let me know!!!! Ours is new and has done this after the 1st day we got it. I took one of the same back to the store thinking there was something wrong with it. Well, this one does the same thing. I've had the new one for 45 days now.
Thanks.

Try reversing the the way the batteries are installed.
The way the positive and negative terminals are aligned
is very confusing on this model.

there is a problem wit your lens section, get it repaired with your company professionals. Your camera may be fallen or being pressed from front side by someone. The new ZOOM will give the same best result and no further problems.

First download the necessary drivers for Windows, download here. After you've downloaded the drivers, press the red "Share" button on the camera, then plug it in.
