I reformat my pc and i dont have a driver for my motherboard INTEL TForce 945P and my ethernet controller, vga controller, and my SM BUS Controller are installed pls help me to provide a free download of this software in step by step manner. Thank you very much

you must turn one of ,one driver will be for Ethernet the other for wifi.right hand side connect icon right click go to network and sharing ,left hand side up top change adapter choose the one you want.as the the yellow marks its telling those drivers are missing.you need either to download them or look for your driver or motherboard disc as the drivers will be on there.

hi, some SM Bus Controller are built-in on windows but the important your video controller driver... just check the north bridge on your motherboard if you can't locate it..
type your gigabyte motherboard model the search it in google.com... just type model of your motherboard and driver download....

This is the software issue. Need to install the appropriate software to reslove this issue.
1.Ethernet controler - Need to install the chipset driver and the Lan driver
2.Pci bus device - Chipset driver
3. sm bus controller - After installation of the Chipset driver - Right click on the sm bus controller and update the driver - select install from specific location - i will chose the location- Select the model and hardware type as thermal sensor
next - follow the instruction.
4. video controller - Need to install the VGA or Display driver
5. video controller (vga compatiable) - Need to install the VGA or Display driver

goto the ACER website, i use the exact same laptop, they provide all the drivers for Windows Xp Home/Pro Vista HB,HP,B,U both x64 and x86
Depending on your operating system, is what drivers you need, linux drivers are not provided.

take the side of the computer off and look for the model number on your motherboard. you need to know if your using a network card or if its onboard Lan. if everything you need is onboard all you need to do is search your motherboard number on the internet and download the drivers. you need can select what you need, sound, lan etc. your goning to have to use a friends pc so you can download these files. when your Lan is installed go to the microsoft webpage and get the latest updates, that will solve the usb in your device manager

if you want to download from the same PC then you cant as the Ethernet driver will not be installed ..

if it is installed then you can download ....

check it in the
control panel>system(switch to classic view in case of XP)> hardware>device manager
in device manager go to network adapters there if the Ethernet driver is installed then you will be displayed there (if the driver is not installed then you will not see that network adapters also)
if it is not installed then you must download the Ethernet driver from some where else to your system from your manufacture(motherboard or chipset manufacture) website (if it is intel then http://downloadcenter.intel.com in this website you can search it & download)
if you have the Ethernet driver installed then you can download from your system only the other drivers from the manufacture website ....
