My lg prada phone doesn't want to turn on, after shutting itself off, few weeks ago when i press the power button to turn on , only the red light on the bottom turns on , the screen just blank and black. it's not the problem with the battery, since i brought a replacement battery...so can anyone help me or have similar problems? if need repair where ? and how much? i live in nj

Hello the software needs to be reprogrammed for the phone to function again. I had this problem then to it to a phone repairer and that what he said the problem was. It cost me around $70 new zealand dollares to fix although you could probobly do it your self it you were good with computers and electronics.

i took mine in shortly after it happened, and i had to mail it to LG, and they sent me a new one. kind of a pain, but the new phone works great.

This usually means that you've got s missed alert, either a text msg or a call. Check your missed alerts section. If there is a text msg or missec call, eithe rread the txt or dismiss the call. That will turn off the red light.
