I'm not sure there is one. My wife didn't have any problems with hers she just plugged it in. When I checked I found the device was running in Compatibility mode but it works fine.

Icannot load the driver for Targus acp50us. i am running Windows 7

Do you have the 32-bit version of Windows 7 or the 64-bit version? To identify your version, click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System. On the line that gives the OS version, if you see x64, then you have the 64-bit OS. If you do not see these extra characters, then you have the 32-bit version.

I suspect you have the x64 version of Windows 7. Targus does not have drivers for Windows 7 x64 for the ACP50US. Targus only supports the ACP45 and the ACP51 docks under the 64-bit OS.

If you have the 32-bit version of Windows 7, download the driver from http://www.targus.com/us/download.aspx?regionid=&sku=acp50us&PageName=&productCategoryId= . This is the Vista (and XP) driver. You may need to use the compatibility mode to get it to work. Right click on the executable file and choose Properties. In the Compatibility tab, choose "Run this program in the compatibility mode". Select Vista or XP in the drop down menu. Then right click on the installer again and choose Run as Administrator.

I hope this helps and I wish that I had better news for you.

Updated laptop to windows 7....need updated software for targus acp50

The Targus ACP50US Docking Station does not seem to have an updated driver for Windows 7. You can attempt to install the docking station using the driver found at this link but that may not work as it is only meant to be used for Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. I'm sorry but if that driver does not work, the docking station will not work until there is a new driver for Windows 7.

Thank you for using FixYa!

Try reinstalling the drivers that came with the mouse. They are below. http://www.targus.com/us/downloads/amw-amu_tiltsoftware_v4_1.exe

The manual could also help http://www.targus.com/us/downloads/amw15_ug.pdf
