Turn on the BD player. Press and hold the PLAY button and the STOP button until UNLOCKED appears on the front panel display.

    This procedure simply toggles on and off the tray lock.
    Totally useless !

Disk player display says tray lock on
When "LOCKED" appears on the display it means the Child Lock is on. To cancel the Child Lock, hold down the Play button on the player until "UNLOCK" appears on the display.

I recently bought a Sony Blu-Ray BDP-S370. The issue I have is that it will not play any DVD's on my Samsung HD TV The message "Mode not supported keeps coming up" Thanks
When you see "Mode Not Supported," hold down the "stop" button on the Bluray player for about 15 seconds and release it. This should reset the player to the lowest resolution over HDMI.

Check other Bluray player settings such as deep color, resolution etc. for conflicts.

I tried the Stop+Play suggestion, but all it displayed was 'Home' and then 'TLK ON'. If you kep pressing it, it then displayed "TLK OFF'.
