Using one of the drivers you have already downloaded for the geForce. (Remember where you extracted them to)

Right click on "My Computer", "Properties","Hardware", "Device Manager"

Click on the VGA adapter that is not installed. Click the update driver button and tell the wizard you will specify the location of the driver. Then next click "don't search. I will choose the driver to install". Click the "Display adapter" and "next". On the next screen click "have disk". Go to the folder where you extracted the drivers to and then you will see that you can click "Geforce 6100/6150 (whichever one you have)

Compaq Presario F700EM Notebook PC downgrade XP

Windows XP is pretty old now and not supported by Microsoft with updates. You may want to consider purchasing Windows 10 to install on your computer and/or purchasing an entirely different laptop.Software Empire The 1 Source For Affordable Software Downloads

You may be able to use the Windows Vista drivers, as it does not appear that HP offers drivers for Windows XP.
Compaq Presario F700 Notebook PC series Software and Drivers

When downloading drivers, its best to only download them from manufacturer websites. For example, you may be able to download drivers separately from each device manufacturer:

Acer Aspire T180 is missing Video Controller Driver

Find out what type of Nvidia graphics card it is, then goto the nvidia site and download the installer from them. The installer usually supports multiple families/models of cards. But yes, you need to download the installer for Win XP pro.
You can do it manually, or have it automatically scan for the hardware and download the correct driver automatically.

Here's a link to the automatic --> http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=en-us

Nvidia mcp77 RTL8201CL driver for xp

I have the same laptop and installed WinXP and then as many of the Vista drivers as I could.
For the network drivers: I downloaded the Vista drivers for the Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g and that covered the wireless. For the LAN, I downloaded the HP Update software which downloaded the drivers. It's kind of a catch 22 that you can't install the network drivers unless you connect that specific laptop to the Internet so either start with the wireless drivers or as in my case, temporarily use a USB-Ethernet adapter.
Also, for video, it's an nVidia GeForce 8200M G (part of the "GeForce 8M Series") http://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownload-March2009/confirmation.php?url=/Windows/186.81/186.81_notebook_winxp_32bit_international_whql.exe&lang=us&type=GeForce M
Lastly, for the chipset, I used these drivers: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/nforce_winxp_15.23_uk.html Please note the above drivers are for the "UK" but they seemed to work. After the fact, I found the following drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_winxp_15.25.html which I THINK may be the US equivalent. This installs most of the missing drivers so do this before running windows update to get the newer updated drivers.

VGA Driver Not Found for Asus X95GL WinXP 2002 Pro SP2

I think perhaps that should be X59GL.

The GL suffix suggests that the graphics chip is made by nVidia.

Please try downloading the GeForce for Notebooks driver for your relevant Operating System. You did not mention whether you run Windows XP, Windows Vista, or whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit - you need to know this.

If you check the System Properties in Control Panel, you should find this information.

Here is the driver download page:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_drivers.html

I hope this solves your issue.
