I have got Hoshizaki Ice Machine which makes three beep sound every 2 second continuously. I turned off the machine. It looks it needs to be cleaned. Can anyone help me to resolve this problem so that it can start making ice again. thanks. SAM

It appears that you have supplied the ice bin model number and not the ice maker numbers. Please double check your unit and see if you can locate those numbers.

The machine, all in one, not indoor/outdoor split type, will make beeping sound when something is wrong and stops working until it is turned off and turned back on. Some times the machine needs to be reset with the power on, covers removed, reset button inside on electronic mother board.
The ice machine covers have instructions and information on beeping sounds.

Have a look at the side of the evaporator; there is a probe (thermistor) attached to it that tells the control board when to initiate the harvest cycle. make sure it's clean and attached properly and doesn't need replacing. If hitting the float switch initiates the harvest cycle it sounds like you have a blocked/ scaled water tube or switch housing. take off the bottom of the switch assembly (black rubber bit) and clean through to the water chamber. run a cycle of descaler before trying again.

Staying in the freeze cycle too long. Usually about an hour. Several things can cause this. Look for water running even if machine is off. Possible stuck float switch. And more.

Hoshizaki machines must have a very clean evaporater other wise the ice will bind causing a slow harvest. This may be from lime scale build up. "Lime A Way" is recommended for this proper cleaning. After that is done check to see that the water inlet valve screen is clean and that you have a filter installed.
Last check the thermister attached to the suction line.

3 beeps means it has been in the freeze cycle too long. A stuck float switch can cause this as well as a leaking water valve. Look for that first. Let me know if you need more info.

turn it off and on and check the drain line and see if its draining water. some times the check valve needs taken apart and cleaned. the problems corespond to water related problems. usually because its taking too long to freeze. good luck

I have a Hoshizaki KM-250BAF that is making 3 beeps then pauses and them makes 3 beeps again. If I unplug the ice maker and plug it in it continues to make the 3 beeps. The manual does not mention anything about beeps. Can anyone help?

Most likely(50% of the times) Your Ice machine need a real cleaning. not just run clean cycle with ice machine cleaner. every 6 month call HVAC-R guys - machine will last half time longer if u schedule proper maintenance with them. I have seen It all: people try to call "friend", or someone who "knows" how this machines work. Real clean would take up to 3 hours for people who know what they doing. Here is one of my videos, when 3 beeps - long freeze cycle is not common and all others would offer You to get a new Ice Machine. Bill to the owner was 950$, New Machine 3450$ plus labour to install 600$.
