MACHINE STOPS, SAYING IT A PAPER JAM.

THERE IS NO PAPER JAM, IT'S STOPPING JUST AS THE PAPER IS BEING PICKED UP OFF THE TRAY.

I would try taking some cleaner such as fantastic or formula 409, remove the paper trays and clean the feed rolls then open covers and clean any rollers in the paper path.
You can also use rubbing alcohol, but a soapy cleaner tends to do better.

Sharp arm 350n says paper is jammed in the way out but there isn't any paper

may not have a jam put a missfeed which is the paper can not be picked up by the rollers, and the machine assume that it picked up paper until it expects to see it at a certain sensor when it does not see at the expect sensor it indicates a paper jam when it mite be that the paper was never picked up, switch paper tray does it work then if so clean the rollers or have them replaced by a tech. or that sensor mite be bad, also indicating a jam when there is not one.

Samsung clx-3150 paper jam. it will only feed 20wt paper from bottom tray. anything else stops and i get a paper jam 0 error message

Check the specs operators manual or go to the Samsung web site look up the specs for your machine. The weight of your paper may be greater then the machine can handle.

Cannot insert Tray 1 into the machine. it says to "Reset Tray 1 correctly". What are they saying.

It is not seeing tray in the machine. Might be a piece of paper stuck behind the tray stopping it from going in and stopping it from detecting the tray?

My printer keeps stopping miod way through printing or saying no paper when there is

Hi it normally just means the paper in the tray was not picked up by the machine.
Remedy remove the paper and tray get a soft cloth with some methylated spirits on it and wipe over all the feed rollers including the ones at the back.
if no meths try a damp cloth (its not easy to get to the rollers in the paper tray but you can without the need to strip the machine

Old machine with light usage. Paper is not being picked up from the tray, then the "paper jam " displayed. The grooved rubber wheels ( 2) are almost worn smooth. Is this the problem?

That would probably be your problem. If you can find some replacement paper pick-up rollers, that would be the best option. If you cannot, find some rubber cleaner, basically an acetate like nail polish remover, and clean the rubber with that. I use a product called "Rubber Rejuvenator" spray it on a rag, and clean the rollers very well.

Another common problem, is the paper stops in the paper tray. Make sure they are tight up against the paper that is in the tray.

Thanks!

Kyocera FS 4000 DN printer stops printing for no reason.

Try the feed tires in the tray first. More than likely the paper is not being picked up and causing jam message. The separation roller also has a hub on it to prevent a second sheet from feeding. Sometimes these start to lock up ,a little oil on the hub sometimes relieves some of the tension.

Red "Paper" light stays on; printer will not print.

Paper light flashing could mean several things on this machine.

There could be a paper jam in the machine. Open the front cover remove the drum and toner and look in the machine. You can also check in between the drum and toner by removing the toner from the drum. Open the back cover and look for a Jam as well.

Try putting a piece of paper in the manual feed tray which is right above the paper tray, sometimes on certain documents the margins are too big and asks to go into the manual feed slot.

Paper stops half way, I get a message saying it's a paper jam or misfeed, but I can't find anything jammed

try to shutdown your printer and then ....arrange the paper properly on the tray or add some ..and then print an alignment page on it.....

Printer will not print 4X6" pictures.

Loading index cards, post cards, and 4 x 6-inch photo paper Remove the paper output tray and all paper from the paper supply tray. Slide a stack of cards into the paper supply tray until they stop. Make sure the print side is face down. Adjust the paper-width guide against the cards, and then slide the paper-length guide in until it stops. Make sure the cards fit within the tray (do not overload it), and then reinstall the paper output tray. Figure 3: Loading a stack of cards 80455c3.jpg

Paper Jam at 2

Its probably not picking up paper from that tray, thus the jam error. For me that is typically because the tray isn?t pushing the paper up high enough to be caught by the pickup roller or the pickup rubber band is worn.
