My laptop has cracked so my webcam is unistalled what can i do?

The action on this point ...assuming that you already installed it again ..and you have at least connection to the internet ..is to go to the manufacturer's support site ..and download the driver from there ..
In case he camera is a built in ..its driver will be present on the support site near all other drivers..
If the camera is an external usb based on ..you have to run the driver again ..if you still have the driver ..or same thing ...take a look on it and see what manufacturer and model it is..go on line and type the manufacturer's name and the word support near it ..and it will show you the support site ..Go in there ..select download drivers...and locate the model and operation system ..and download the driver..
if you are unable to find the manufacturer..or such ..usually it has a serial on it ..a few letter and numbers..and if you type those in the browser..and word driver near..you can manage to find it ..or ..let me know the exact model of the camera ..and I will link the driver..
http://driver4freeware.blogspot.com/2011/09/samsung-r519-53s-notebook-driver.html
I managed to find the driver on this location ...It seams they have all drivers but for the camera only are available on the windows xp ..if you do not run windows xp try to install it anyway ..but before starting ..go in the folder (after unpacking from archive ) ..and locate the executable (installer) ..and click right on it ..and select properties..and on the properties..select compatibility ..and check to run it in compatibility with windows XP..and apply and ok ..
After that run the driver and will work ..If it do not want with xp compatibility ..try with windows 2000 ..maybe the driver is to blame ..
(these last indications in case you are running Vista or windows7 and you do not have the driver for the camera at all .and you donwload this one ..which is for xp ..)
Good luck !

Hi , I have recently removed the windows vista and installed the Windows 7 Os in my Sony Vaio laptop. But now the laptop can not read the memory stick of my camera. could you please...

Hello. Most probably you need the driver for your card reader. If you give me the model number of your computer I can point you to the download link. Or also you can try fetching the driver from windows update within Windows 7.

To whom it may concern, A couple of months ago, My Netbook rebooted itself . I dont know why it did it on its own. It wiped everything from the desktop including the USB camera device driver. I have...

You can use web cam Drivers CD to restore the cam drivers. In case you dont have the drivers CD, you may download the drivers from the internet. Restoring/ downloading the web cam drivers depends upon the make/ model of web cam and the Operating System you have on your PC. Let me know the make/ model and Operating System Detail and I'll try to search for the drivers.
Secondly, almost any good quality USB cam compatible with you Operating System (e.g. Windows XP) can be used.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!

Webcam wont load

Hi,

If the two (cam + laptop) have not worked together before, it might be due to drivers problems. Most drivers are very OS specific. In some instances Vista has been known to have USB and/or compatibility issues. On the otherhand XP sometimes requires that you uninstall the old drivers, reboot before (re)installing new drivers, reboot before installing the hardware and allow autodetect and auto install.

If the two (cam + laptop) have worked together before and now doesn't, it might be due to hardware problems such as the cord, the cam itself or the USB port of the laptop. If your other USB devices works, then USB port(s) can be ruled out. You can verify that the camera works buy installing it in another PC.

You can verify OS compatibility of your camera as well as updated drivers at the Logitech website. Additionally, you can check for Microsoft updates/patches and fixes like this USB patch for Vista.

Should you need additional information, pls post back with your cam's brand/model, your laptop's brand/model and your OS version.

Hope this be of help. Good luck and kind regards.
