Dont bin it!!!
If you are really lucky it may have just blown an internal fuse or if your not so lucky it may have killed the mains transformer which is still worth repairing.
If the transformer is faulty and was replaced with one sourced from Pioneer GB then no external 240V to 110V transformer would be needed - you would be able to plug it straight into a UK mains supply.

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping there may be a slim chance its not as fatal as it seems. Is the internal fuse easy to locate and is it user serviceable? I have some knowledge of electrics, forever repairing printers, computers and laptops etc...

Power problem, CDJ wont turn on propperly as it is from the US and i live in Birmingham UK

The step down adapter should work fine as long it supplies the voltage and any other ratings shown on the turntable power supply indication pannel. However the problem might already have happened. If the fuses were before the power entered the mains transformer of the unit, then if they were set to blow above the USA voltage then things could be OK. However if the the fuses were in the secondary output from the transformer then the mains will have caused possible damage to the transformer. Maybe even elsewhere.

Pls I have Pioneer CDJ 200 (America version 120v) and mistakenly used 240v to power it up, and it didn't show again, can it be repaire3d her in UK? thanks

Hello
The input circuits of your amp have been applied the double voltage it is meant to work, for juat a second at least. There may have many fault occcured during this shor period of time. It is repairable in UK. But the cost of repair and the fault that the set has is not predictable. OK.

Hello i need some help,i have pioneer 800 mk2 cdj i buy from usa but im live in london so difirent pawer supply here i bought the converter but try connect and its not showing nothing maybe the problem...

You can have a fuse problem only in you plug it diectly to 240V, the UK voltage. Check that the converter is a step down transformer, 240 to 110 volts. The system should work with 110Volts. If everything is ok, then you blew the system´s powersupply with the 240Volts. that is difficult to solve.

CD is getting stuck while ejecting

1st check to see if any paper or labels are jamming the mechanism, if not them the main cam is known to cause problems.

Cdj 200s bought from america not working. they have american plugs on at 120v. i have tried an america to uk travel plug and 240v to 120v stepdown transformer but this has not resolved issue....... would...

Yes, fuse may be blown, first check out the fuse of CDJ,
if it does not work. Install a physical 120v American transformer
also change the switch of 240v to 120v from back of CDJ

thx,

CDJ 200 without electricity fuse blow off?

no you cannot do that , the device works on 120v( 117v around me) , but it cannot be changed like that , you would need a trans former that breaks down the voltage to 120v
changing the fuse will not change the circuitry in the device

Fuse Replacement

Hi diamonddan11

I have given you direct instructions as to where the fuse is on your original post. The fuse is located inside the unit on the same printed circuit board as the mains power socket, right beside the main power switch.
