Lost my owners manual, and need to set the date and time on cannon ZR 200 mini dv 20x

This is most likely due to a failed Pause / Play switch and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

Hi, Please charge your battery ( with camcoder Off) for at least 1 hour. Then unplug your charger and turn On your camcoder. If it can not turn on, it is apparently you have flat battery and need replacement.

The ZR 200 uses standard sd cards. It will not work with an SDHC card.

Go to menu, vcr set up , av dv out, push menu button and change!

Its something to do with camera problems. Best bet is to return or bye a new one.

There should be a manual eject button. You know like on CD-ROM's there was a small whole for a paperclip to fit into, there should be one on that camera. This will eject manual, and becareful the tape might be caught on the head.

Check if the setting is activated that puts the date stamp on (in the menu) and also check if your time is set.

Check to see if the small lithium battery (size of a dime) is installed behind the battery pack. This stores the date/time when rechargeable battery is low or off.

yes, I found the manual downloads on Canon's webpage. I wish I could figure out how to transfer my tape videos to a computer. I bought the $50,00 DV-1394 cord and nothing happens--computer doesn't recognize the camera.
