When i try to install the zune drivers from the original cd it says it dosen't work with vista which is what im useing on my laptop so i downloaded the new zune media player from the web site and it dosent see my 30gb zune

reformat it then go get the firmware drivers for it. when you try to sync it with the zune software it will ask to install the latest version say yes to it.

since you said you got a new laptop. What I did to install a old programs is just open my computer (Make sure disk is in drive) and right click the CD icon, Go down explore. Right click a icon that says install or setup. go down to properties. click the tab that says compatibility. Check mark "Run this program in compatibility mode for: And choose what that program is ment for. should say on the box that came with your CD. Like Designed for Windows XP. Hope this works...
