Bosch Diswasher Have Bocsh SMU 2046 UC diswasher. Aprox. 11 years old Has always worked well. Recwntly is not cleaning at 100% as before. Seems to run through cycle as normal and sort of cleans but leaves stains in coffee cups and flatware seems filmy, sometimes a little guk left on dishes, all uncharacteristic of past performance. Tried a thermometer during cycle and water temp is around 151 F during wash, 136 F at rince. and 154 F at dry time. Have checked arms for cloging and are free wheeling. What's left to look at except sort of cleaned dishes ? Any insight to this problem would be greatly appreciateg. Gerald

Remove the drain hose and check if you have any residual into it. After 11 years your appliance may need a thourought cleaning.
Check also if the pump has enough pressure.

Also check this

Generally listen if it sounds like it is spaying water regularly.

sounds like the electronic switch usually a Thyristor is not switching when you push the eco button, You could try disconnecting the the machine from the mains then push the buttong in and out a few times to see if the push button has a bit of dust on the contacts..

What year is Bosch dishwasher SMU 4052 UC?

The FD number will tell you manufacture date
eg 8709
09 = sept
87 = 2007
9103
03 = march
91 = 2011

Bosch diswasher less than 1 yr old SHE4Apo6UC/05. At start of wash, tub fills with water then cycle goes from ACTIVE to CLEAN within a couple of minutes. Dishes don't get cleaned and water doesn't drain...

yes the problem from the heater.

if the sound coming from boiler heater means
1)scaling on the boiler tank(tank to be cleaned).
2)check any loose connection on the heater wire.

Water does not make it to the jets

You need to take a flexible wire and stick it in each of the jet holes, all of them. Then run the machine, so the water can dissolve the soap. repeat the process w/o dishes/ soap (lather rinse...repeat)

First check the screen in the water inlet valve ( you have to take off the lower panel below the door and disconnect the water supply. If that doesn't work or isn't plugged, replace the valve.

Diswasher doesn't clean

your water heater is set too low in temp.
you can turn up the heat or get an on demand heater under your sink for the dishwasher. you get a tax rebate too.
the heater in the new washers are too small to effectively heat the water to hot.
and always add a bit of bleach to your wash. the hot water will neutralize it.
or get an old dishwasher.
