We have a belkin.49ed router and hooked it up. It worked well for about a week or so and now we can only connect through the ethernet cable. We check the modem and the laptop can connect to other wireless connections no problem.
The wireless security of the Belkin must have been enabled. Use a computer wired to the router to access the setup page and get the network key.
In the address bar of your browser, type 192.168.2.1.
By default, leave the password blank.
Once on the setup page of the router, go to Wireless -> Security. You will see the network key here.
On your laptop, view the available wireless networks and you should see your wireless network name or SSID, then when you click connect you have to enter the network key.
I hope this helps!
