Unplug your TV and then plug it back in, let it flash on and off without doing anything for 5 minutes or so and then turn it on. It does it once amonth or so for some reason.
With a non responsive remote that would be inpossiable you need to replace the control board inside around $100 bucks then you can have a good tv again but to get to the service menu your controll has to be working.
Try disconnecting the TV from the power socket, leave it for few hours and then plug it back and then turn TV on.
If your TV starts working..great..but if it happens again then you might have problem with the power supply board in which case you will need to get it repaired.
My problem is exactly the same. The TV blew its fuse and will not start again. The front red light flashes when we press the remote but otherwise there is no response.
