I just purchased EL1333G-01W, all seems fine, until I download yahoo messenger and mozilla firefox. Once I do that it seems to think it is offline when it is not and it stops the firewalls and virus protection.

Yahoo problem may be either due to pressure exercised by the users , or weakness in the Internet Connections , Or the Browser you're using , So first thing you have to do make sure that your internet connection is good , then Update your browser (or use mozilla Firefox 4 )
1- Go to http://www.mozilla.com/en/firefox/central/
2- Click on the download Button and wait while download finish.
3- Double click on Mozilla Fire fox Setup fille , then follow until you finish the install operation ,
At the End Good Luck

Reinstalling both Yahoo messenger and Firefox, this will solve the problem... There might be conflict with the applications so you need to clean install, it'll not fail. About the internet explorer, it'll be ok, but when you compared the speed with the firefox, IE is much slower. good luck..

Go to Start>Control Panel > Add or remove programs remove all the things related yahoo ( Yahoo toolbar, Yahoo mail advisor, Yahoo installer, Yahoo browser plus etc.) Try download and install then....If still same try download offline installer http://download.yimg.com/ycs/msg/dl/msgr10/us/b4/msgr10us.exe
if still you are having difficulty download old version like Yahoo messenger 8 or Yahoo messenger 7
