Well, it could be faulty pods, or a faulty input, faulty wiring involving the pickup(s) or any number of other things - simple or complex. Take it to a trusted music store which has a trusted diagnostic guitar repairman.

Replace the battery. The battery is turned on when you plug in the cable, so DO NOT leave cable in when you are not using the guitar.

Use a standard MONO instrument cable NOT a stereo type.

Testimonial: "There were not any loose wires. If you look at my original question,I did not mention a model number. Thanks for your time. "

A lot of bass'es have a battery in them to operate the EQ electronics in them.

One discussion I found refered to the battery life of your particular guitar so I would check yours. On the hardbody guitars the battery is often in a cavity near the output connector.

In the acoustic electrics the battery is often in a cavity on top of the top bout. There are a FEW acoustic-electrics that have a battery inside thaat is ONLY accessable by un-stringing the guitar... those are a real pain.

That is the problem because your original post was for a RBX374 which has a battery... that is why I mentioned the battery. This Fixya thing of posting false model numbers drives us crazy!

Broken wires around the jack on the guitars are VERY common... open the electronics area and you will probably spot the trouble right away...

Peavey max 115 makes popping sounds but no out put when bass is plugged in

Your amp has two inputs - Passive and Active. Do you get the same results plugging into either one? If only one works, then the other needs reconnection or replacement.

I want to build an amp that will deliver a bass drum sound for the stomp box I built.

As a 40 year guitarist and repair technician I had to laugh at this until I thought about my younger days of starting out. What I see here is that you made a momentary trigger out of a stomp box that apparently had problems, that you think you can build an electronic bass drum to play it with. Is this correct? See, the amp only gives a bass drum sound ONLY if a bass drum sound goes through it. Amps only provide audio power to the input signal. Where to get you bass drum sound is what you need to find. I believe you are thinking of a sample. A sample is an actual recorded sound of a bass drum that you could actually trigger by stepping on that button. You could find this on most cheaper casio, yamaha, emerson, radioshack, keyboards or drumpads or any of those amateur toys. Most of them allow a trigger pedal to be plugged into it and operational. Now, after you find something with a bass drum sample that you can trigger with your pedal, that device should allow you to plug it into an amp to amplify it. I hope I didn't confuse you much and had a close perspective of what you tried to describe. Please let me know if I can help further.

Yamaha Clavinova CLP-440

It sounds like you have a part overheating and failing, then cooling off and starting again. i would take it into the nearest Yamaha repair facility or contact your local authorized repair to come take a look before it goes out of warranty.

My bass drum pad doesn't work I get a drum sound when I put the lead into the module but nothing from the kick pad. I tried another lead to a tom and the bass drum but this wouldn't work either. I...

If you have already tried a different cable and it didn't work, then the issue might be with the bass drum pad itself. You can try the following steps to troubleshoot:
  1. Check the connection: Make sure that the cable is firmly plugged into both the bass drum pad and the module. If the connection is loose, the signal may not be transmitted properly.
  2. Check the sensitivity setting: Check the sensitivity settings on the module for the bass drum pad. It is possible that the sensitivity is set too low, and the pad is not registering hits.
  3. Check the pad: Check the bass drum pad for any visible damage or wear. It is possible that the trigger inside the pad is damaged or malfunctioning.
  4. Reset the module: Try resetting the module to its default settings. Sometimes, this can fix issues with individual pads.
If none of these steps work, it may be necessary to open up the pad and check the trigger mechanism inside. If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, you can take it to a repair technician.

I bought a behringer bxl3000t yesterday and when I plug it to the wall it gives me a pretty big noise, even when the bass is not plugged in, If I turn the amp on without anything plugged and all the knobs...

Since you just bought this, exercise your warranty (assuming you bought this new). The amp probably will have a slight buzz with nothing connected... the question is how loud it is. If you can hear it loud at five feet, that is too much. If you bought this used, prepare to have it serviced at a shop.

Bass Guitar Keeps sound keeps cutting in and out.

There is an inconsistency in your text. You indicate that cables were swapped and problem still existed...
You said:... "i have tried using it on a different amp and still fine".

If you tried it on a different amp and it was still fine then the guitar is probably OK.

THEN your amplifier is in question as the root of your problem.

What is the amp you have? The guitar is the CB-42, but what amp do you have?

MANY intermittent problems with amplifiers are often with the input jack itself. These jacks are easily broken by tripping over a cable plugged into them.
