My Kodak Easyshare C913 Digital Camera wont take pictures or video in any other setting than "auto", How do i get it to take video and pictures in a different setting. The product is out of warranty to so i can't send it in to get fixed.

may be you had placed the card wrong and inside the pin got pressed and only inner memory is getting used which gives less pic. due to less mb inner memory
When you say "upload" I get the idea you are trying to get them to your computer or even your easyshare account online? In the camera, you can tag images for download. Make sure you have all the download flags removed or the camera will not allow you to download the images without a download flag.
I spoke to someone on the IM chat at the kodak website,
and took me through the steps that seems to get around that problem,
if its a kodak c913.
they are;
open the easyshare software.
connect your camera.
if a transfer window opens automatically, close it.
in the easyshare software window open the 'add picture button'.
then select the folder with the name of your camera 'kodak c913'.
all your pictures should load as if it would through the automatic transfer window,
select whatever pictures you want to add,
clock add pictures,
then done,
and it doesnt come up with the error message of the software believing there is duplicates.
you should be able to go to kodak website and download software and drives to download your pictures from your camera.i had this problem when formatted my laptop.hope this helps.
