I've just recieved my phone & hv had the same issues, the more I read, the more issues these particular phones r having. My phone is now black!!. To avoid the freezing, to send msgs I set up my NEW MSG as a directional key to get msgs out faster w/o shutting off, but sometimes it still did, jst not as much

You can't save your call log but to save text msgs. you press the blackberry button on the msg. u wanna save then scroll down to save. BUT if all your msgs., call log and BB msg. are constantly getin deleted the try getting a new battery.
The only way 2 reply with out the original msg coming out is when u reply 2 a msg delete the orginal msg at the bottom and then start writing ur reply msg i think thts the only way u can do it.
