Windows DVD Maker is a very basic program that fails on a regular basis. There are dozens of other free programs that are doing a much better job. I use http://www.protectedsoft.com/download.php

How about using administrator user.
Try to reboot the laptop on Safe mode then log in as administrator..then you can add another user or change the other users password.
remove the keyboard the mobo battery is there you need to unsolder one end of it, lift the leg, and turn it on that way for it to clear.. you will have to resolder once done.. have the skills or find someone that does... and you're set..
Yes - same problem here - Downloaded the latest drivers from http://www.kworld.com.tw/Support_download.aspx?id=241&d1=5&d2=1 and they worked with Vista initially, then when Vista SP1 came out - doesn't work anymore.... Dohhhh Waiting for new version / patch.....
I have a Toshiba P205-s6337 I have ran vista ultimate and Windows XP Pro with no problems. I took a while to get all the drivers but now that I have them I can upload them and share. If anyonw needs them just drop me a line and i can post a link. I did compress the files into a rar file that i split into2 parts. 1st part is 100mb 2nd part is 78mb compreesed with winrar at maximum. [email protected] is the address if anyonw wants the drivers posted, I can host the files so it wont be a goofy rapidshare link
