Bluetube is connected to my cell phone but I can't hear anything

There may be linking issues between the headset and the phone. Page 11 of the user guide offers these suggestions. Also, here is a link for re-pairing your headset to the phone:

Plantronics Explorer 230 Pairing Instructions

Remember that you want to purge any possible bluetooth interference from your phone.

"Callers cannot hear me or I cannot hear caller/dialing tone:
The headset is not turned on or the headset is not connected to mobile phone. Press the call control button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep or see the indicator light glow blue to turn headset on.
Your headset is out of range. Move the headset closer to the phone or Bluetooth device.
Your headset battery is drained. Charge your battery using the AC power adapter supplied.
The listening volume is too low. Press the volume key up (toward the earloop) to increase the sound heard in the headset."

IPhone 4 s not recognizing the 232

Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 232 headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, then it is not in pairing mode. Below is a link for the pairing instructions for the 230 headset (which is the same as the 232):

Even though the volume is turned all the way up on both my cell phone and on my plantronics 220,both fully charged,I can barely hear any type of call. whether its a given or recieved call.

Try to delete the bluetooth from the phone, and re-pair it or subscribe back on the phone. It may be that your headset is old and needs to be replaced. If this does not work look at the Plantronics M100 bluetooth headset.

I have included the users guide for the Plantronics Explorer 220 headset.

How to pair blackberry storm to plantronics explorer 232

I am a little rusty on the PLantronics 232. but I believe to put it in pair mode, you have to press the volume up and the MFB (multi function button= button that answers and disconnects calls) at the same time. then pair your blackberry like normal. as I recal the pair code either 0000 of 9876
