1. Open "Settings".
2. Select "Apps".
3. Tap the drop-down menu at the top of the screen and select "Disabled".
4. If the app is in the list of disabled apps, select it.
5. If a button exists that says "Enable", tap it.

  • Screen lock sounds - When enabled, the device will give audible feedback when locking or unlocking the screen.
  • Vibrate feedback - When enabled, the device will vibrate when you make a screen selection such as opening an application or using the keyboard.

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC Inspire 4G as a result of this procedure. This process may or may not delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.

First, try this:

1. From the main home screen, tap menu
2. Tap Settings, then Privacy
3. Tap Factory data reset
4. Tap Reset phone
5. Enter your password if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm

If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:

1. Turn the power off. If your HTC Inspire 4G is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
2. Hold the Volume Down button
3. Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power button
7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Inspire 4G. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.
