I have a canon ZR65MC that has rarely been used. When you turn the camera on, the LCD screen and view finder are both black. No image appears. The lens cap is off. This happens wether you are in camera tape mode or still image mode. In still image mode it flashes BLK&White on the screen but I can't find what that means anywhere. It powers up fine and everything else seems to work there just isn't any image to record. Every now and then the image will come back but it's sporadic and I can't pinpoint what makes the image sometimes appear. I don't use the still image capability in this camera but I'd like to be able to use the record function again.

Looks like another case of damaged CCD. Once replaced the problem can be solved.
