Advent netbook windows not loading on switch on

The system is showing signs of issues with the hard drive, so boot to bios and reset defaults and see if the system will boot.
If not, then you will need either a bootable USB drive with you OS image loaded so you can try to attempt repairs or a USB optical drive that you can use to boot to your Operating System.
If you know the keystroke, most newer systems have built in diagnostics (Try the F12 menu) and see if the hard drive has failed.

try adjusting the boot sequence or at least enabling a different priority in the boot sequence ,,press F2 to get to the bios and learn how to navigate these pages

You can perform a restore on it. Refer to manual on how to repair Windows by repairing or restoring. Alternatively, start you computer up and keep tapping F8. When loads of options come up on the screen, you should see "Repair my computer" or something similar. Use arrow keys on keyboard to select and hit enter. That should load you into recovery/repair options

when you restart, quickly look out for the option that will give you access to the boot.

Try to start up in Safe Mode press F8. Choose Safe Mode, when at the choice window, to select either Safe Mode Desktop, OR System Restore, chooses system restore and choose a time before you had the "Problem" and follow instructions. This should get you back.

click on the windows menu, u see a column that says "start search" .... type in the word webcam, it leads you directly to the webcam then you can operate it..

Have you tried booting in to a Safe Mode and trying to work from there. You can also try using external DVD/CD drive and hopefully it recognize it. Hope this helps.

i would say the hard drive needs replacing

Have you entered the security details regarding your network connection into your new netbook.
Sounds like the problem.
Detect the network and enter the security key (WEP;WAP etc) and should work

to solve. re-format and re-install the OS/Windows
then install update the laptop drivers from you original CD of this laptop.good luck
