I still have a ts error code after replacing thermistor and cleaning all vent & lint areas. can anyone offer suggestion? there is an electrical component to my lint screen that is not on amana's repair part list. i'm wondering if that could be the cause? amana suggested unplugging dryer for at least one minute to reset, but also no luck! :-(
I have a gas model but this is what I found on the sight and it helped :

Check to see if your thermistor is bad by measure the resistance. It should be 10K Ohms at room temperature.
If it's bad, replace it BUT you have to CLEAR to error code.
1. Enter to Service Mode by press CHIME and TEMPERATURE keys for 3 seconds or until 3 beeps are heard.
2. Access Diagnostic Codes by pressing WRINKLE PREVENT. A d will be
displayed. Rotate the CYCLE SELECTOR KNOB in either direction to read
it.
3. Press SENSOR DRY and TIME keys for 3 seconds to clear it.
4. Power OFF to exit Service Mode
5. Power ON
My dryer is barely over 2 years old, it has stopped working and is flashing ts, we cleaned the filters and replaced the thermistor sensor, but it is still not working and flashing ts. i dont know what to try now, i know if i have to replace the dryer it will not be an amana, or any other brand associated with it.
Thanks Ralph!!! That fixed it for me!
tS = Dryer Thermistor Short Sensed
{The Thermistor resistance is very low}.
Check for:
- Clogged lint screen.
- Restricted vent system.
- Check Thermistor resistance.
- Check for diagnostic code 1
The thermistor is item 50 this link: PN 35001191

The thermistor has to be shorted to the chassis to get this code.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
