Please help My washer started doing the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. Mine will work perfectly and then stop. No sounds from the motor at all. After it sits for a few hours it will work perfectly again... washes fine then starts to spin FOR A FEW SECONDS then quits. It started this about 3 weeks ago then started working perfectly for about 2 weeks... now it is on the blink again. One more thing I have noticed is that if you leave it on the timer will get to the spin cycle and drain all of the water out as if the system is actually about to spin. Once the timer gets to the spin cycle it goes silent completely. No hum or anything from the motor. just like it is turned off. ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED! THANKS. SYNOPSIS: 1 FILLS NORMALLY 2 WASHES FOR A FEW MINUTES 3 DRAINS NORMALLY 4 SOMETIMES SPINS FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN CLICKS ON AND OFF BETWEEN TRYING TO START AND STOP... THE WASHER DOES SPIN WHEN IT ATTEMPTS.. AND SOUNDS NORMAL.

Mabe fridge stops working every 15 minutes. Is that how its suppose to work?

Question edited for better English and CAPS for maker name.

Yes, that is exactly how it is supposed to work and is called 'cycling;. 15 minutes between cycles is perfect. What happens is this. Your fridge is at the perfect 3' centigrade (37.4 Fahrenheit), so it cycles off the compressor motor, 15 minutes later the temperature rises to 3.2'C (37.76'F) so the compressor cycles on for a few minutes and pulls the temperature back down to 3'C. If you are opening and closing the door or adding things at ambient room temperature like supermarket produce, the compressor will stay on longer to get that perfect temperature and cycle off.

If it is doing it every 30 seconds, that is called 'short cycling', and it would need attention.

I have a pioneer avic-f900bt and it keep turning off. it powers up for a couple of seconds and then it shuts off what could that be please help me.

I appear to have the same issue with mine. I purchased mine from Audio Itch in Tampa, Fl in December of 2008 and had them install it with an amp and speakers. Worked fine for almost exactly a year. Upon starting up my car, it powered up and gave the system powering up notice, then went blank. Rebooting with the small restart pinhole button sometimes works, but most of the time it will start powering up again, then shut off????

Car reving up and down on its own 3 to 4 times, then sputtering and dying?

The previous solution to check the idle air contol is in the correct area but needs some clarification.
The idle control is accomplished by two parts: Throttle position sensor ( $35 at Autozone) and idle contol valve approx $190. I replaced the throttle position sensor about a week ago and it runs perfect
to date but am a skeptic after almost two years of dealer incompetance. I researched all the sensors and failure symptoms on the internet and the throttle position sensor failure symptoms matched mine
exactly. See http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Throttle _Position_Sensor

My frigidare glws1233a top load

Do you have this noise when operating an empty machine ? It could be cause an unbalanced load of clothes. Stop the machine, redistribute the clothes and re-start the machine. In case you still have this noise, the problem is with the transmition between the drive motor and the inner tub. Good luck !
