Theres a little floatation type device in the removable tank that triggers a switch just above the tank on the unit itself. Just check that that isn't stuck in the "Full Tank" position. I had the same problem and jiggled the switch to make sure it could move and my A/C was back. Hallelujah!!! Hope it works for you...

How to fix E1 error code?

If it's a Delonghi Portable AC unit, E1 indicates that the water collection tank needs to be emptied.

If I knew which brand and the model number of what you had, I could be more specific.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

It is saying FE with a triangle error, and won't turn on???

Actually, what you're seeing if "FL". It indicates that the water collection tank is full and needs to be emptied. Once that's accomplished the unit will operate again, as it should. Be sure to turn the unit OFF & unplug it, before draining the tank.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

With code Ft at delonghi pac c100

Ft = normally means empty the internal tank, this is normally done at end of season cleaning storage. On some units there is a small ''bung'' low on the rear which will empty the tank - the unit should then reset when powered up. Hope this helps

What does it mean when it doesn't work & it says "fe"?

FE may actually be "FT" which means full tank. Refer to http://web1.dlservice.org/dlservice/dataload/istruzio/GB-5751015400.pdf page 14.

Empty the internal safety tank, through the drain hoses. Refer to Page 16 on how to do that.

Blinking ft what do i do?

According to the manual, blinking Ft and some people think it is blinking FE, Means the internal tank is full. Empty through the drain hoses. Open the cover on the rear of the AC (it is located near the bottom of the unit) Pull out the two drain hoses, remove the caps and let the water flow out. Put caps back on and place hoses back inside.

How do reset this unit when the filter light flashes ?

You still need to empty the water out of the unit. There are two hoses at the bottom on the back of the unit. Empty both of them and hopefully, the unit will reset and start back up. It worked for me.

Empty wateron DeLonghi Pinguino Pac L 90

That probably is Ft, meaning full tank. Look on the bottom of the back side, and there should be a small "hatch" that will open. The two small hoses in there are drain hoses that can be unplugged to drain the tank. They're right at the bottom, so if you have a way to raise the unit up a little that would let you drain the water into a container. Might be a good time to clean the filter too.

Full Tank

I had the same error and the tank was not even full. I took the cover off of the unit which consisted of removing 10 screws. The water tank is on the bottom left side. I then removed the float which was a small sensor with a styrofoam float. I removed the float (2 more screws) and moved it up and down. It did not appear to move very smooth but after moving it back and forth a few time it seemed better. I put the float back in ensuring it was at the low point, screwed it back in and then tested the unit. It came on and appears to work fine now. I unplugged again putt the cover back on it has now ran 30 minutes no problems.

Error Message

It's actually "Ft", which means "Full Tank".  The instruction manual says to drain the internal safety tank through the drain hoses.
To drain the tank, open the cover on the rear of the appliance. Pull out the 2 drain hoses, take off the caps, and let all the residual water flow out.  When all the water has been drained, place the caps back on the hoses and put the hoses back inside.
It also says you need to clean the filters and let them dry thoroughly before putting them back.
This is also the procedure for "End of Season Operations."
Hope this helps!
